Paying Off a Home Equity Loan or Line of Credit Pinnacle Financial Partners

Many people like this type of account for unexpected expenses, rather than using a higher interest credit card. Lines of Credit give you the comfort of knowing you have cash ready when you need it. With this type of loan, you borrow against the available equity in your home, using your house as collateral for a line of credit. As you repay your outstanding balance, the amount of available credit is replenished . Use the funds as you need them and only pay interest on the portion of the credit line you use.

But when you use your home’s equity in a way that gives you a positive return for your future, you’ll maximize your investment and potentially save money as well. At Pinnacle Bank, our goal is to provide the best financial services to you and your family. You can refinance your mortgage for a higher amount (based on your home’s equity) and take out the difference in cash.

Lines of Credit

We offer a wide variety of loan options to meet your specific needs and financing requirements. It all begins by connecting with us and sharing your plans. Then we partner with you to find the perfect option. Just be sure any improvement you make using the equity in your home adds value to it. Common examples include remodeling your kitchen, installing solar panels, adding energy-efficient windows, or upgrading the exterior siding on your home.

As long as you don’t go over your limit, the money will be there to pay for whatever you need.

Calculators

It’s essential to look at your home’s equity as a way to invest in your future — not as a petty cash fund for things you want now (but really can’t afford). Typically, if you use a HELOC or cash-out refinance loan, you’ll get a lower rate than using other loans because you’re putting your home up as collateral. And because your home is the collateral for the loan, it may be at risk should something go wrong with your loan.

There are typically no closing costs and a quicker approval process when you open a HELOC. We’ve got the products and services you need to meet your savings goals. Whether it’s CDs, Money Market Accounts, Christmas Club Accounts or Health Savings Accounts. Whether you’re a first-time homebuyer or a long-time homeowner, applying for a mortgage is intimidating.

Put your home’s equity to work.

The more your home is worth, the larger the line of credit. Of course, the final line of credit you receive will take into account any outstanding mortgages you might have. This includes first mortgages, second mortgages and any other debt you have secured by your home. Pinnacle Bank has always been and always will be focused on personal service. Our experienced loan officers are available to answer your questions, whether they are regarding auto loans or any of our other types of loans. Pinnacle Bank puts the “personal” in personal loans.

Sometimes you need to stay flexible. Lines of credit can help.

Keeping your cash flow rolling along is essential for running a small business and for your own peace of mind. Pinnacle Bank has been a locally owned, community bank since 1934. We specialize in meeting our customers’ financial needs, both now and into the future. They can walk you through it and let you know quickly if it’s been approved.

A line of credit is a simple financing tool built around flexibility. Instead of giving you a lump sum of money to spend, it keeps money available for you to draw on whenever you need it. It’s perfect for projects and purchases where costs can be unpredictable.

We encourage you to seek personalized advice from qualified professionals regarding all personal finance issues. They can also help you prepare for the unexpected, including being able to take advantage of good opportunities when they come up. The figures entered on the input page of the calculator are for hypothetical purposes only. You should enter figures that are appropriate to your individual situation. The equity you’ve built with your house can be put to good use. Whether you prefer a loan or a line of credit, we make qualifying easy so you’ll have the money in your hands fast. Use this calculator to determine the home equity line of credit amount you may qualify to receive. The line of credit is based on a percentage of the value of your home.

At the Heart of Every Community Is a Good Community Bank

Use care in how much you invest because of the risk involved — your home is the collateral. Typically, you should invest no more than 80% of your home value for this purpose. With a loan, you’re taking out money one time and paying it back over a few years. Rather than a set amount, you’re using the equity in your home to open revolving credit. You can borrow money with this Line of Credit multiple times.

Laura's Home expands opportunities for children in crisis

“Here at Laura's Home we are able to connect them with long-term services, both while they're here at Laura's Home and also moving forward so that they can work through that trauma that they might have witnessed or that they just might have been a part of through what their mom has experienced,” Skizenta said. We feel strongly that through outreach and education efforts we can continue to provide resources and inform our community about the services we provide. We offer various forms of education and see over 25,000 community members per year. So, a part of Skizenta’s work is helping the kids with their healing process.

We use the latest and greatest technology available to provide the best possible web experience. Home looks different for every family, butour ultimate goal is a home that it is sustainable, safe, and loving for allin a way that breaks generational cycles of poverty. For families, the Heart stage is about building trust and skills needed to work together toward a healthy future. Help is not only our first phase for families, but often the first opportunity a mother has to rest from despair, and a child to rest from confusion. The supervisor said it is possible for the kids to grow after experiencing or witnessing trauma.

Shelter Graduate

Our staff works closely with each woman to help her set a path to achieve adequate income and sustainable housing. Part of this stage might also include basic education in our Resource Center, vocational training, group therapy and classes to heal from trauma and mental health issues, an on-site Intensive Outpatient Program, and connection to a local church, support groups, and chapel services. Even if a mother can obtain room in a family shelter, she is likely to feel unsafe and/or run out of time to both find work and housing to support her family. At Laura’s Home Women’s Crisis Center, our program for women and children, we make every effort to remove those barriers of fear.

In the final stage, moms and kids seekHome, which is not just a place, but a community. Moms are newly equipped to find jobs and resources that can support their family. They work with our Resource Center to determine budgets and find housing in school systems that will meet the needs of their children. And they also restore and build loving relationships to replace the ones that first led them to crisis. Our campus regularly hosts approximately 60 women and 90 childrenat Laura’s Home Women’s Crisis Center every night. Our private rooms can host families big and small, allowing moms and kids to bond and work together in safe spaces.

In Ohio,a single mother working a minimum wage job — the work most of our guests are eligible for — must work 100 hours each week to afford a basic two-bedroom apartment. The City Mission is addressing this critical need for affordable housing through theNew Horizons Program. Through this incredibly transformative program, we work with external organizations to empower women with children to become homeowners and break the cycle of poverty. And the response needed to change this heartbreaking reality is more complex and challenging than any other trend in homelessness we’ve seen. Discover the wraparound care we provide for mothers and children atLaura’s Home Women’s Crisis CenterthroughHelp, Heart, andHome.

We work quickly to restore dignity to our guests by immediately providing toiletries, clothing, strollers, and any other essentials a family might require. Women must decide within the first 30 days if they would like to sign on for the full program at Lauras Home. If one decides to stay on past 30 days, they must make a commitment to living and learning at Lauras Home for our program, which lasts 6 months or more. We also have emergency shelter space during extreme weather or on a case by case basis. While the mothers who live there go to work or attend rehabilitation programming, they can send their children to the new space for child care and education opportunities. For women and children, we are a bridge from crisis to stability and self-sufficiency.

Healing Hearts

Skizenta said many of them are affected by crisis situations like homelessness, drug abuse and domestic violence. The City Mission is funded entirely by private donations from people like you. “We really want them to not just be here and be baby-sat, but also to sincerely grow and thrive and also work through whatever traumas they might have experienced as well,” Skizenta said. “It is our morning day care time," she said. "So, for the first hour of day care, they have free play. The inception of Laura's House was inspired by a true story about a woman called Laura from Orange County who was a victim of domestic violence. Laura Hein Moll's values and her life of discipline, sacrifice and hard work to provide for her family was a model and inspiration for Laura's Home.
